About two weeks ago, one of my clients, Eileen sent me an email letting me know that her website was finished and about to go LIVE! This unexpected rush of excitement and pride went flowing through my veins. I couldn’t wait to open her website!
This was a bit of a surprise since she had been facing some obstacles the last time we spoke; figuring out her offerings, getting the right messaging, logo and branding issues, and more). I opened her website and wow! I was absolutely amazed at how much she had accomplished in what seemed to be a short amount of time. Her messaging and copy were succinct and clear, with the focus on her audience and not on her (not as easy as one would think). The design itself was clean, professional and the warm colors evokes a sense of trust. Her offerings, which as mentioned above, took some time (as they always do) to formulate into a congruent sequence her clients would naturally flow with, was so well done.
If looking from the outside in, I would not know that any of this was new to Eileen, and perhaps because most of it isn’t new to her, but bringing all those skills together to create her own business, her own messaging, her own website was another thing all-together. As we all know, it’s much more difficult to do for ourselves what is so easy to do for others.
So many times we just don’t see our own abilities and how we translate that into our own entrepreneurial dreams. For Eileen, she was able to see the limiting beliefs that were holding her back, she was able to own her value beyond the value she had been acknowledged for in the corporate world, and she was able to see beyond and embrace the truth of her own worth and potential. Eileen recognized that she has a higher calling and purpose and pushed through the limiting beliefs to transform her world into the world she always knew she was destined for. Eileen has spent her entire professional life in corporate environments, where most of her higher level skills were never really valued, nor did they get fully utilized or honed. She has coached C-level professionals through mergers/acquisitions, and the major life/professional transitions that come with it. Not an easy task when most of them are being moved to positions of less power than they had before, but she's a natural at it. She’s a quick study of people and understands their true emotional needs, and how to address them that will serve their highest good. She is skilled in NLP and knows how to utilize this skill to help people overcome major obstacles internal and external. My favorite quote about leaders is “…in order to lead others, you must first lead yourself.” Eileen is highly creative and a natural leader and as her witness, I can tell you that she is a leader of self. She has the innate ability to see people’s strengths, even ones they never knew they had. People trust her and feel that she has their best interest at heart immediately. She truly loves helping people transition into a life and /or career where they will be most happy and fulfilled. I have the utmost respect for Eileen and it has been my honor to partner with her as her coach through possibly the most transformational season of her life. I’m inspired by her ability to face and overcome disappointment and adversity (there were more than a few surprises throughout our coaching journey together), to not give up on herself and to continue to transform her limiting thoughts and beliefs into life affirming ones. If you are looking for a transitional coach, be it for a job, career, or a complete overhaul of life; Eileen is your woman! She has been in your shoes and she has crossed the great divide to the other side. Not only has she been through all the trials and experienced the highs and lows herself, she loves and cares deeply about humanity and she will be a great guide and compassionate support system for you as you navigate your way into a new and brighter reality in life.
